Ad Autopsy Promotional Posters
Ad Autopsy is a lively Columbia College lecture series that dissects the TV commercials we love to hate. Presented twice per semester, the themed nights are hosted by an advertising executive, a cultural critic and a student panel. Five or six commercials are first screened, then spiritedly ripped apart. Analyzed for merit, implication, back story and technicality, the events often turn into animated and provocative debates with the student audience providing feedback and asking questions of the guest speakers. These posters were designed to both brand and advertise the events, with the objective of providing a recognizable look and format for upcoming editions.
