New Jersey-based Falk Designs offers an original and exciting approach to interior design. Rather than charging into a project with a “gut everything” mindset, they instead take stock of what the client already has and likes and then work to expand on it. They are not concerned with imposing a style or following trends. They listen to the client's objectives and then focus on uplifting their existing aesthetic to reveal familiar, but more polished versions of their spaces. Whether it's a fresh update to a tired area or a major overhaul of an entire house, Falk Designs is there to explore options and create dream spaces all while keeping the client's preferences and established style front and center.
When Falk Designs’ owner first came to me for a logo and web design, her goal was to create a friendly and approachable identity that highlighted color and aesthetic flexibility. She didn't want anything too slick or intimidating. Over time, however, that directive evolved to also include a desire for something less specific that could be easily adapted for alternative uses such as branding for design tools and future product lines.
The final logo is bold, yet affable, with a graciousness that invites aspiration without being daunting. Similarly, the website is calm and clean, with an organized interface that is easy to navigate. Bright spots of color from the site's icons and portfolio images add a happy freshness that reflects the firm's optimism and openness to discovery and collaboration.
