KALEIDOSCOPE ASSOCIATE BOARD & FUNDRAISING MATERIALS
Posters, Invitations, Products & PowerPoint
In addition to my role in creating the agency graphics for Kaleidoscope, I also served on the Social Committee of its Associate Board for whom I designed many print and web event graphics and fundraising products. The focus of the AB was to raise money and awareness for the organization. We produced lots of fun events, including annual rooftop Cubs games, wine tastings and bowling extravaganzas for which we created related products that we could sell to attendees. My best brainstorm was to have the kids make bowling pin people sculptures. I held a workshop at Kaleidoscope's offices where the kids had a blast decorating pins that we later auctioned off during our event. They were adorable and the hardest part for me was not absconding with all of them!
Kaleidoscope is a nonprofit, charitable organization that helps Chicago youth cope with the consequences of abuse and neglect within their family system. Struggling with complex emotional, physical and medical needs, kids referred to Kaleidoscope face incredible challenges that require resources and support. The team at Kaleidoscope is committed to alleviating these obstacles for kids, believing all youth deserve the chance to reach their highest potential.
