Wall Resources, a Denver, CO-based business, made the historically disjointed job of interior design materials sourcing accessible and efficient. A unique entity, everything a designer might need could be found all under one roof. By offering endless possibilities for commercial interiors and accumulating them all in one location, Wall Resources effectively took the chaos out of chasing from vendor to vendor when sourcing a project. Featuring products for walls, windows, ceilings, floors and upholstery, they offered full lines of many prestige brands as well as extensive capabilities for explosive custom digital work.
I first began working with Wall Resources designing digital environments. When the owner asked if I could create an organized, resourceful website and give it a jolt of refinement and excitement, I knew I had a tall order in front of me. My first task was to give their existing logo a facelift. My intent was to convey the diversity and potential of their product offerings with a dynamic, unusual mark. The new look was then applied to a catalogued website, for which I designed the art and interface, curated the imagery and wrote the content. The new site featured enhanced organization and navigation for a designer-friendly user experience and an inspiring one-stop online shop.
Temporarily shuttered during the COVID crisis, sadly the business never reopened.
